Seminole Boys Spring Cup

In what would conclude the 2004 season for us, the team went into enemy territory to meet an FC America squad loaded with ODP talent (8 of them to be exact), and a long history of great success at the State Cup and tournament level. This was their hosted event, and we were riding a high level of confidence coming in. With three group play games which we handled quite easily with a margin of 16-1, we then met the famed FC America in a final that was to be long remembered, for the upset that resulted. We defeated this exceptional opponent at their home field, at their tournament, by a score of 3-2. After exchanging leads through out, we went into the half time down 2-1, but on goals by Daniel Lovera and Daniel Sanchez, we took the lead for good, and held on to preserve this historic match, which game us our third championship of the year. These achievements, added to a 3rd place/ semi-finalist finish and another finalist result, gave us a string of successes on which the future of FUTSOC USA was to flourish.
