FUTSOC ENIGMA DOMINATES AT 2016 WESTON CUP & SHOWCASE ONCE AGAIN

In its second consecutive showcase tournament of the young season, FUTSOC ENIGMA opened the 2016 Weston Cup and Showcase with a convincing 2::0 thrashing of an overhauled West Pines United FC. Followed with a match against Ordin FC of Brasil, wherein we scored both own goals in the thoroughly dominating performance of the 0::2 group play loss, the squad followed up with another dominant shutout victory against Paris Saint-Germain Academy by the score of 2::0. The semi-final match pitted our national renowned squad against Cutler Ridge SC, who were decidedly thrashed by the margin of 6::0, setting up yet another final against local foe Albion SC Plantation Red. What started out as a carefully orchestrated match, ENIGMA took control of the match in the second half, narrowly missing on five sure goal situations, having one goal called back on a debatable offside flag and scoring eventually the sole score of the match for the 1::0 victory. This was the third consecutive final in which Albion SC Plantation, had lost to ENIGMA dating back to 2015.

Congratulations to our respected opponent for a very fine performance and of special mention, congratulations to ENIGMA, for yet another tournament championship, the second one in this very young season.
