The Soccer Development League (SDL) is celebrating its 25 year anniversary of existence, and FUTSOC USA is proud to announce its participation in this highly reputable league. The composition of the league is geared toward elite high school and college level players, and will consist of an 18 game schedule and playoffs. The league is limited to 10 teams in the South Florida area and will commence late March, and run through until its conclusion in August.
The cost of the program is $130.00 and will include, team registration with the Florida State Soccer Association (FSSA), the individual player registrations with the United States Soccer Federation (USSFA) and Referee Fees for the entire season. Joining the SDL is not expensive, nor is it complicated. Playing in the SDL guarantees player and fan safety (zero tolerance for extreme behavior), electronic player registration, top class referees, liability and medicl insurance, visibility for college and professional level soccer...and more! The SDL is under the umbrella of the U.S. Soccer Federation, which allows further play into the State and National Cups. many existing national team players were discovered while participating in the USASA leagues around the country!
