In the summer of 2012 at our FUTSOC Summer Soccer Program, we were able to establish a lunch provider relationship with a local SUBWAY's group, led and owned by John Lupo, who owns a chain of five Subway's restaurants. A special box lunch package was presented to us, at a very affordable cost, which included a healthy, nutritional standard option of cold cuts, toppings and bread types, a bottle of water and a bag of fresh fruits. Orders were taken on a weekly and /or daily basis and delivered promptly to the camp site. This excellent option was received with great enthusiasm by both the parents and the participants who greatly enjoyed their lunches.
Mr. Lupo's two sons, Landon and Logan, outstanding soccer talents, are now wearing the FUTSOC colors and will be playing with our premiere level U-16 and U-13 FUTSOC USA teams during the upcoming season. Much success to both of them!
With this relationship, we provide the campers with healthy food alternatives, which most of the campers present registered for. The pilot program was a great success, and from now on - commencing with our 2013 FUTSOC Spring Mini Camp, will serve as the official lunch provider for our four (4) yearly camps and any other functions requiring this excellent food option.
Further to this, Mr Lupo has offered a ten (10%) percent discount to all FUTSOC participants or members at any one of their five (5) locations.
