2015 PLANTATION THANKSGIVING TOURNAMENT

Our FUTSOC ENIGMA celebrated an important victory, running the table against four top level teams in winning the highly rated 2015 Plantation Thanksgiving Tournament. Opening the group play in dominating fashion with convincing victories over Greenacres FC 4::1, a tie with Plantation FC 1::1 (on an own goal), a victory over Coral Springs FC 3::1, and a 4::2 win over Fort Lauderdale Select, our powerful ENIGMA entered the final with a rematch against top 30 nationally ranked Plantation FC Copa. A superb performance, resulting in a 3::0 win and complete domination of this fine opponent, sealed our tournament triumph and sets the tone for the very ambitious and exciting tournament schedule ahead for 2015.

Led by a very strong goalkeeping effort by Orel Cohen, an impenetrable defense anchored by Alejandro Pages and supported by our outstanding wing back lateral defenders Myke Zamor and Joey Piga, an impenetrable second line of defense at containment with Gabriel Gonzalez and Daniel Atilano, a controlling midfield guided by Jefferson De Souza, Victor Henriquez, and Jimpson Morency and a most aggressive attack, spearheaded by strikers Romelaire “Pele” Ambroise and Stanley Theodore, ENIGMA thoroughly dominated the championship match and took the match in convincing style. Added support was provided in equally consistent and competitive manner by set-up forward Jose Navarro, midfielder/forward Landon Lupo, attacking midfielder Djymy Cestine and holding midfielder Wadson Laurant. Player of the tournament was Romelaire Ambroise, who scored eight goals in leading our most formidable attack.
