GRAN CANARIA - CLUB CONVENIDO ATLETICO DE MADRID VISIT WITH FUTSOC

Last month, while in attendance at the World Cup 11v11 Championship Tournament, FUTSOC received the gracious visit of Messrs. Victor Rodriguez - Director General and Luis Guzman - Coordinador General of the Atletico Gran Canaria (a recent affiliation between the world renowned Club Atletico de Madrid S.A.D. and Gran Canarias FC). The purpose of the visit, to better acquaint themselves with our internationally renowned club, define the cooperative working agreement between our youth clubs, coordinate the potential player exchange/visits, the participation in tournaments in Spain and many other mutually beneficial plans and activities.

The attendance to our club afforded them an excellent first hand view of our FUTSOC FUTALAN U18, as it played and won all four matches at the event, in winning the cup championship. They both expressed great admiration for the technical skill development and tactical application play displayed by our squad (comprised of mostly younger players than the division entered).

Introduction to other competitor clubs directorships and their facilities in the South Florida area ensued, further solidifying their commitment to the pursuit of the discussed relationship between our clubs. expected that we will follow up on the transition to the next phase by next month.
